About
My name is Andrew S. McCullough. Most of my friends call me Andy. I’m married, with three sons and two grandsons! I’m an instructor at Michigan State University, where, in addition to teaching ESL, I also teach a class on propaganda analysis and the history of advertising. What kinds of propaganda do you feed yourselves?
I began practicing Transcendental Meditation in the early 1980s. That is also when I first became interested in hypnosis. My first success was in helping a fellow college student to stop biting his nails! It worked!
I’m probably like you – I meditate intermittently but I have been increasing my time in the practice of self-hypnosis and meditation during this stressful time of the pandemic. I managed to use the power of suggestion to lose 25 pounds so far this year! Not so easy when your office space is 12 feet from the refrigerator! Actually, with meditation and self-hypnosis, life is easier!
Check out my blog! I’ll be exploring how meditation and hypnosis can help all of us live more fulfilling lives. Ditch the stress, the negative self-talk, the bad habits and the restlessness of worries and anxiety! Look for new meditation techniques and inspiring quotes to carry with you every week on EmpowerYouBlog.com!
